We’re looking for someone to join our Technical Support & Provisioning Team to support our diverse Business to Business customer base - the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in IT and Computing, and in a perfect world will have been building, supporting and playing around with computer and IT systems in a limited capacity - perhaps as a keen hobby or previous work experience.
The role would suit someone who already has a strong IT interest, and is looking to work in an IT Support Role, working to both support existing customers with Desktop, Product & Service and more routine support as well as become involved in setting up and provisioning new services. You'd be joining in a junior role with on-job training and experience being gained whilst being mentored by an experienced member of the team. As part of the role we'll look to help you gain a qualification - for example a Microsoft Certified Professional, and may develop this with you depending on your success to MCSA and other levels over time.
The role is designed to be part of a long term career building opportunity where you will have both paperwork and certifications but also plenty of real world expertise and knowledge that demonstrates you can put your theory into practice, all done in a Small Business that looks after a range of different IT Services for Business Customers - everything from On-Premise servers to Cloud services.
NOTE: We also have a role for someone with more experience available - click here for information.
This tells you more about the job and some of the key requirements.
We aren't looking to take on any new agencies, so please don't contact us. You must be directly looking to take on a role with us.
Prepare a covering e-mail/letter, and your CV - and make sure if you're attaching anything you send it in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format. Also please tell us when we could reach you by phone if we wanted to discuss your application (especially if you're currently employed elsewhere so we don't call at an awkward time!).
When you put in your application, give us information that helps us understand why you're a good fit for us - tell us more about what you can bring to the company and anything that helps YOU stand out from the crowd as the best choice.
Send your CV, welcome letter, and anything else you think relevant for the job application. We'll review all sensible applications, and get in touch with you once we've had opportunity to review the application. It might take a few days or a couple of weeks depending on how many applications, so don't panic if you don't hear back immediately!
If you're e-mailing your application, please send to: jobs2017@vpwsys.net - you can also e-mail this address if you have any questions about the role.
If you want to post your application, please send to:
VPW Systems (UK) Ltd, Managing Director, 6-7 Southernhay West, Exeter, EX1 1JG
We're accepting applications from 23rd January 2017 to the 10th February 2017.
