Networking Services - Technical Overview

Fixed Networks and Cabling
Whether you're moving office or expanding your need for networking, we can provide Network Installation Services and install the cabling and infrastructure required for your network. We can install network sockets, connect to a patch panel for anything from a single socket to a whole building with hundreds of sockets. We provide CAT5e, CAT6, and both standard and shielded (STP/FTP) network cabling, and have experience of installations in high interference environments such as workshops and machine rooms.
Network Management and Switching
For small networks, we can provide and install suitable equipment (switches), while in larger networks we'll also then support those systems on an ongoing basis as these networks typically require ongoing support to keep them operating correctly. While we support almost all network vendors, we recommend switches from HP Procurve and can recommend/install/maintain these for you.
We can provide and support networks involving VLANs, Access Controls, QoS etc and other more advanced features typically found in larger networks, and have experience in multi-switch routed networks, both within a single site, and over WAN or MAN links.
Wireless Networks
Wireless Networking has become one of the fastest rising forms of networking for businesses of all sizes today. However, a properly configured wireless network can be significantly more reliable and beneficial to a business. We can recommend and install wireless systems which are designed for just a few users up to large scale deployments to cover large sites or multiple buildings, with security and coverage considerations part of the build criteria. Through our SimplyFi Wireless service, we can also provide Wireless Hotspots for businesses that want to offer Public Access services (for example Hotels and Holiday Parks). We can provide WDS (Wireless Distribution) based networks, mesh services, and deploy large scale outdoor network services.
