Supported Products for Support on Demand

Although not a comprehensive list, we've detailed some of the products and services we most commonly support for our customers to help you understand just how flexible our support on demand system is. Please be aware that while we can support these products, your I.T. Systems & Computers may not be able to for technical or licensing reasons!

Client Applications and Software

Microsoft Application Support, including: Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP and Vista, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 95 through to 2007 and 2010 (even in Beta). We support both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, and are experienced in licensing with Academic/Charitable Licensing too so we know what you need. We're Microsoft Partners too so we have access to priority support and early release information too.

Adobe: Most Adobe Products such as Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere, Dreamweaver and other similar products, CS3/CS4 Suite, and other similar products.

Accounting Applications such as Quickbooks, Sage Instant Accounts, Line 50, Line 100 and similar, TAS Books, and other commonly used Accounting Products, Payroll systems etc.

Specialist and Vertical Applications including: Gladstone MRM Plus2, Blackbaud Patron Edge, Blackbaud Raisers Edge, AutoCAD, Solidworks, EdgeCAM - we support many applications that are used in specialist markets. We also support GIS applications such as MapInfo and ArcView as part of our advanced services.

Smaller Applications such as Mind Manager, Paint Shop Pro, Nero, ACCPAC and most common utility products are supported without a problem - and if you have bespoke applications or niche products that's fine too - we work with many customers who need specialised tools.

For mobile and distributed users, we also support terminal based applications, such as Citrix or Terminal Services, and application virtualisation through software such as ThinApp for environments using such technology & VMWare, Hyper-V etc too.

Server Applications and Software

We support server operating systems including Windows NT4, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 (All Editions), Windows 2008 including R2, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 to 2010, SQL Server 7 through 2008, Sharepoint (Services, Designer, Server etc), Project Server and almost all current supported Microsoft Server Applications. We also support all Microsoft Small Business Server systems. We're Microsoft Partners too so we have access to priority support and early release information too.

For more unusual needs we can provide support for Novell Netware, Groupwise, Lotus Domino and other systems, but ask that you discuss your requirements with us first as many of these systems are now considered to be legacy.

We also support Terminal Systems such as Terminal Services, Citrix Presentation Server, and Virtualisation Systems including Virtual PC, VMware, and Xen Server. We support the use of Thin Clients for those server systems.

Mobile Applications and Services

We also support systems such as Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Palm, Nokia Phone Services, Apple, & Maemo as well as VPN Technologies, including Microsoft PPTP, IPSec & IP VPN setups from most vendors as well as SSL VPN systems for desktop/browser based access, so remote workers and remote access requirements can easily be handled. We support Exchange ActiveSync, Blackberry BIS, Blackberry BES etc too so whatever your mobile platform, we've got you covered.. Remote Working via Terminal Services, Citrix, Remote Desktop etc are also normal for us.

For data on the go, we can recommend and support mobile data cards, from all UK Networks (3, Orange, Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile) and assist with setting up these systems to work with your network. We also support a range of Wireless Hotspot systems (including our own SimplyFi service) and other remote connection options. In addition we can provide assistance with most mobile and smart-phone systems.

Telephone Systems and VOIP

Our team have the skill to support many Telephone Systems, and provide suitable advice on systems such as standard lines, ISDN, BT Versatility Systems, BT Inspiration, the BT BCM, Voice over IP Systems and SIP Based Telephony. We can also provide support on alternative VOIP technology such as Skype and help your business improve it's telephony services. We can also offer assistance with integrated phone systems If that isn't enough, we also offer our own VOIP Telephony Solution known as Agility Voice too.

Networks and Wireless Systems

More information can be found on our Networking & Wireless page about our Support for these services. However, we can support networks from simple systems with standard switches such as NetGear or D-Link, through to more complex networks with VLANs, MPLS infrastructure needing QoS etc using Hewlett Packard (HP) and Cisco equipment and can manage this across geographic locations for larger requirements. (But if you've got 2 PCs in a tiny office, we can help you too!)

For wireless we support a wide range of wireless technologies including access points, building to building links, Public Access Networks and Wireless Hotspots. We even provide our own Wireless Hotspot system, SimplyFi Wireless. If you've got an unusual wireless requirement there is even more good news as we have provided a range of unique wireless solutions.
