E-Mail Services - E-Mail Essentials Standalone Packages
Assistance on using the e-mail packages, sending e-mail and using the Web Mail service

What's the maximum size of e-mail I can receive?

Our Mail Servers allow messages up to around 45MB in size to be received on both our Standard E-Mail Services and Agility Mail.

On our Linux Web Hosing with inclusive E-Mail Packages the limits are around 50MB

In reality you may find messages this large cause problems for you - particularly using a mobile phone, some Web Mail services and so on. Additionally may systems are not able to SEND mesages that large - so they'll never get sent to your E-Mail Account.

For practical reasons, we suggest sending messages no bigger than around 10MB in size as this is more likely to be accepted. If you need to send large files, consider FTP, or online storage systems. You can often also reduce the size of a message by compressing (using ZIP or RAR) files before they're sent.
