Fax to E-Mail Service FAQs
If you've got our SimpleFax Services, these FAQs will help you get the most of your service:
Q. When I receive a fax, how will it be sent to me?
You will receive a PDF of the Fax by e-mail to the nominated fax receivers address. A PDF is a free file format made by Adobe, and readable using Adobe Acrobat reader. This is installed on almost all systems, and is available on Windows, Linux, Mac among others, along with almost all Smartphones and PDA's etc.
Q. When I send a fax, I am told I am not authorised, why?
The ability to send a fax is restricted by you using a designated E-Mail Address to send the message - if you are not using that E-Mail Address, you will be unable to send faxes. You would also get this message if you have our SimpleFax Receive service, and not the SimpleFax Send or Complete services.
