Web Site Hosting - Linux Hosting
Logging into cPanel, using WordPress and making changes to Linux Hosting Packages

What is the maximum size of e-mail I can send on Linux Packages?

When using our Linux Web Hosting Packages that include E-Mail (eg you can control the e-mail through your Control Panel/cPanel Login), the maximum e-mail size is 50MB.

Please note that when you attach items to an e-mail, the size of the attached file(s) do not include the sending overhead (which can add up to another 30% on top).

NOTE: Not all customers using Linux Hosting Packages use our service to SEND e-mail. If you don't subscribe to our "Authenticated SMTP Service" or use the "smtp.<servername>.vpwsys.net" address where enabled on your Linux Account, you won't be sending via our systems. In most cases you'll be sending via your Broadband Provider, Mobile Phone operator or a Wireless Hotspot service.

Remember that while we may allow you to send messages that large, many receiving e-mail systems do not - so if the person you're sending to has a provider that limits lower than this, they won't receive the message. We recommend keepnig e-mails to below 10MB in size for the best overall experience.
