Do you prevent certain file types from being transmitted?

To reduce the risks associated with some types of file, we do not permit them to be transmitted if you have our Cloud Anti-Virus & Anti-Spam Filtering system.

For example, we do not allow:

.docm
.xlsm
.exe
.bat
.vbs
.com
.mde

If the sender needs to send the file type in question, we recommend they rename the file type, and assuming they pass other screening and filtering tests would then be delivered OR you use a Web based File Transfer service to receive them.

In addition, some messages that might be encrypted or otherwise obfuscated from our scanning systems may be refused on the same basis.
